PLUM PUDDING 
1 egg, beaten lightly
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 c. bread crumbs
1 c. suet, cut fine
1/2 c. nuts
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in water

Put all together. Stir. Cook in a double boiler for several hours.
