HEAVENLY HASH CAKE 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/4 to 1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. nuts, chopped
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp.vanilla

Melt butter in large bowl. Add eggs and sugar. Stir thoroughly; do not beat. Combine cocoa, nuts and flour in small bowl. Stir thoroughly and add this to the large bowl above. Mix well and add vanilla. Bake in 9x13-inch pan at 350°F for 25 to 27 minutes. Will not bounce back and toothpick will not be totally clean. Remove from oven and put marshmallows over top (cut large ones in half). While cake is baking, prepare icing:

Icing:

1/2 c. cream
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1/4 to 1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
marshmallows

Combine ingredients (cream, sugar, cocoa and butter). Mix and beat for 5 minutes and pour over marshmallows while cake is still hot.
