FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 lb. broken nutmeats
3 lbs. mixed dried fruits, (1 lb. raisins, 1 lb. mixed fruits, 1/2 lb. cherries, & 1/2 lb. pineapple -- cherries may be mixed red and green if desired)
3 c. flour (all-purpose)

Dredge all fruits in additional flour. Mix all ingredients well. Drop by large teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Batter will keep well in refrigerator for several weeks.
