EVELYN'S ICE BOX FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. vanilla wafers (crushed)
1 (8 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. coconut (shredded)

Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl until all ingredients stick together. Put on a piece of wax paper and roll into a log or ball. Put on a cookie sheet and put in freezer for 24 hours. Take out of freezer, cut into slices and enjoy.

I can't believe anyone else makes this! Back in the 60's my mother would make this every Thanksgiving and Christmas! As I got older I have often thought about this fruitcake but know one had heard of it! And now I have found the recipe. I will be making this for Christmas!
