1 box brown sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. white sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs; sift flour and baking powder. Add milk, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Serve with icing or custard (Southern Boiled Custard).

ICING:

2/3 box confectioners' sugar
3 oz. cream cheese
Milk to mix
1/3 c. Crisco
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Cream all ingredients to spreading thickness.
