| CINNAMON POUND CAKE | |

1/4 c. sugar 1/8 c. cinnamon (2 tbsp.) 3 c. sifted flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 sticks butter 1 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 1 c. milk Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon and set aside. Also mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter until fluffy adding sugar, vanilla and eggs. Now beat until fluffy. Alternately add flour mixture and milk. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube or bundt pan and pour 1/2 of the batter in pan. Sprinkle cinnamon mixture over batter, then pour the rest of the batter over cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. | |

Just made this recipe two days ago and am already making my second! It is so good! The cinnamon almost swirls! You may want to add a glaze, I just did milk, powdered sugar and a bit of cinnamon and it worked great! Awesome breakfast bread to have with coffee!
