CINNAMON PUDDING CAKE | |
1 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 c. water 4 tbsp. butter 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 1/2 c. chopped pecans In a small pan bring to a boil brown sugar, water and 2 tablespoons butter; set aside. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, 2 tablespoons melted butter, sugar and milk. Pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Pour brown sugar mixture over cake. Sprinkle chopped pecans over top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream on top. |
