SOUR CREAM - CINNAMON CHOCOLATE
CHIP CAKE
 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar, divided
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sour cream
2/3 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

In large bowl combine the flour, 1 1/2 cups of the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sour cream, butter, vanilla and eggs. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed, scraping sides of bowl. Pour half of batter (about 2 1/2 cups) into a greased 9x13 inch pan or Bundt pan.

In a small bowl combine remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle half of the sugar-cinnamon mixture and half of the chocolate chips over the batter in the pan.

Spread the remaining batter in the pan and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture and chocolate chips. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
