CHOCOLATE CHIP-OATMEAL CAKE 
1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. Betty Crocker chocolate chip cake mix
1 1/4 c. quick-cooking oats
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil

Grease and flour a 9x13x2 inch pan. Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and beat on low speed, scraping bowl constantly until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 25-30 minutes. Cool and frost cake with Browned Butter Frosting as follows:

BROWNED BUTTER FROSTING:

2 3/4 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk

Heat butter over medium heat until delicately browned. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk; beat until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency.
