GERMAN CHOCOLATE OATMEAL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oats
3/4 stick butter
1/2 German chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Pour boiling water over oats, butter, and chocolate; stir. Cool for 20 minutes. Add eggs, vanilla, and dry ingredients; mix well. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
