PEANUT BUTTER ROUND-UP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. creamy peanut butter
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Quaker oats

Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy. Add eggs and peanut butter, beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture mixing well. Stir in oats. Shape dough in 1 inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. With fork, press to make cross-crosses on each. (If dough sticks to fork, occasionally dip fork in flour.)

Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
