PECAN PIES 
1 bottle white karo syrup
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 pie crusts
4 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
2 c. pecans

Mix syrup, sugar, flour & salt. Stir and add melted butter and vanilla. Mix well and add eggs. Mix well & add chopped pecans. Mix and pour in unbaked pie shells and decorate with pecan halves. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20 minutes, then lower the temperature to 325°F and bake until firm in center and light brown in color.

Bake approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
