2 c. sugar 1 c. Crisco 4 eggs 1/4 c. cocoa 2 c. flour 1 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Dash of salt Cream shortening and sugar; separate eggs. Add yolks, one at a time. Add flour and milk; beat. Fold in beaten egg whites and beat. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. ICING: 1 c. sugar 1 c. Pet milk 1 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 3 beaten egg yolks 1 c. coconut 1 c. pecans Cook sugar, milk, egg yolks, and butter until thick. Add coconut and pecans. |
