SPECIAL CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 (4 oz.) pkg. plus 2 squares German sweet chocolate
1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. butter, soft
2 1/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate and blend with boiling water. Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, one at a time. Add melted chocolate. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk and vanilla. Pour batter in 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

ING:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
Vanilla

Mix and spread on cake.

ICING:

1/2 stick butter
1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 squares melted chocolate
1 box powdered sugar

Mix and spread on cake over filling.
