SHIELA'S TACO DIP | |
1 lb. ground beef, browned 1 env taco seasoning 2 (15 oz. ea.) cans refried beans 1 (16 oz.) container dairy sour cream salsa (your choice) shredded cheese (Mexican "fiesta" or taco blend is best but use your favorite) OPTIONAL TOPPINGS: diced onion sliced tomato black olives paprika any topping you might use with tacos that you like... After browning and draining ground beef, follow directions on taco seasoning. Drain any excess liquid and then mix beef with refried beans. Spread mixture in bottom of 9x13-inch pan then layer to your liking (works best this way): sour cream, salsa and shredded cheese. You can also sprinkle some cheese in your beef mixture before spreading or do multiple layers of cheese if you choose. Refrigerate and serve with chips of choice. Do not let sit in the sun for a long period of time or sit uncovered. Enjoy! Submitted by: Shiela |
