PEAR TOMATO CHUTNEY 
1 lb. pears
1 lb. ripe tomatoes
1 onion
1 bell pepper
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 sm. can pimento (add last 5 minutes)

Simmer 45 minutes and can. Makes 4 half pints.
