BEEF BRISKET IN BEER 
1 onion, sliced
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
1 can beer
1 brisket of beef

Place brisket in roasting pan. Place onion on top. Mix brown sugar, ketchup, and 1 can beer. Pour over onion and brisket. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hours.

I have searched for this recipe since I made it a few years ago; the meat is tender and delicious. I did use more onion slices.. they should be served with the meat.
