MOLASSES TAFFY 
1 1/3 c. (15 oz. can) Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. molasses
1/8 tsp. salt

1. Mix Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk, molasses and salt in heavy, shallow saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 250 degrees or until a little mixture dropped in cold water forms a hard ball (about 35 minutes).

3. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2 inch buttered pan or platter. Let stand until cool enough to handle.

4. With buttered fingers, pull until firm. Stretch into long rope. Cut into 1 inch pieces with scissors.
