HAMBURG ROLLS 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburg
1 c. bread crumbs
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. pepper
5 eggs
1 tsp. salt

Boil four of the eggs until hard. Mix meat, pepper, salt, one egg and half of the bread crumbs. Spread the meat mixture out in a large flat cake pan, keeping close together. Slice boiled eggs and arrange in the center of the meat. With floured hands roll meat up until a long roll is formed, with the eggs in the center.

Tie the roll in several places, so it will not come apart. Place in baking dish and bake in oven at 350 degrees until well browned. A small quantity of water may be added in the pan so the meat will not dry out. Remove from oven and slice in thick slices. Serve hot. Serves 4.
