TACO MACARONI SALAD | |
2 c. cooked corkscrew macaroni, chill 1 hour 1 lb. ground beef 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix 1/2 c. French dressing 1 pt. cherry tomatoes, (halved), or diced tomatoes 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. each, green onions and green peppers 1/2 head lettuce, optional Cook ground beef, until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well. Stir in taco seasoning and French dressing. Cool. Combine pasta, beef mixture and remaining ingredients in large bowl, tossing well. The lettuce may be shredded and added to the salad, or may be used as a bed for the salad. Yields: about 8 servings. |
