FREEZER SLAW | |
1 lg. head cabbage 1 carrot 1/4 c. bell pepper 1 tbsp. salt Prepare as slaw, let set 1 hour. Combine: 1/4 c. water 1 c. white vinegar 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute. Pour over vegetables, let cool. Pack in jars and place in freezer. |
