FAMOUS BEER BREAD 
3 c. self-rising flour
5 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can regular beer

Mix ingredients gently. Put in greased loaf pan. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Melt 1/2 stick of butter. Pour over top of loaf. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes; turn out of pan.
