1/4 c. butter
10 oz. pkg. regular marshmallows, or 4 c. mini marshmallows
6 c. Kelloggs Rice Krispies cereal
Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies. Stir until well coated. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cut into squares when cool. Yields 24 squares, 2 x 2 inches. Variations: raisin - add 1 cup. Peanut - add 1 cup. Peanut Butter - stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture just before adding to cereal.
