PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
1 baked pie shell
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter

Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter until coarse. Place 1/2 mixture on bottom of pie shell.

FILLING:

1/2 c. cornstarch
2/3 c. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. butter

Cook until thickened. Pour into pie shell. Use egg whites to make meringue. Spread onto pie. Sprinkle with remaining peanut butter mixture. Place in slow oven until meringue is firm.
