PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
3 c. milk
3 eggs
1/4 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter
1 (9 inch) pie crust
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 tbsp. sugar

Combine cornstarch, flour, sugar, egg, and salt in a saucepan. Add milk and cook on low heat until mixture becomes thick and boils. Stir constantly, cook for another minute, add butter. Add peanut butter. Stir until mixed. Pour into cooled pastry crust. Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff. Spread over the pie. Make the meringue, seal the edge of the pie. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Bake until meringue is browned.
