ENGLISH TEA MUFFINS 
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
3/4 c. raisins

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten egg; blend well. Combine salt, cinnamon, baking powder and flour; add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups and sprinkle with topping. Bake 20 minutes.
