TOSSED FRESH SPINACH SALAD 
1 lb. fresh spinach, washed, dried, and torn
4 oz. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
5 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Toss spinach, water chestnuts, eggs, and bacon, and serve with dressing.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c. catsup
1 sm. to med. onion

For dressing, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, and onion in blender jar and blend well. The dressing is delicious on other greens and on fruits. It keeps indefinitely. Yield: 6 servings.
