NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER | |
4 strips bacon 1 med. size onion 4 med. size potatoes 2 cans evaporated milk 2 (7 1/2 oz.) cans chopped clams 3 tbsp. flour Cut up bacon and onion; brown. Peel and cut up potatoes. Cook in separate pan until tender. Add flour to bacon mixture and stir. Add both cans evaporated milk and 2 cans water. Add drained clams. |
