SMOOTH AND CREAMY FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 (5.3 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 c.)
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in 3 quart glass bowl.

Microwave uncovered, 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring once or twice.

Microwave, uncovered 3 more minutes, stirring occasionally. If necessary, occasionally stop cooking to prevent mixture from boiling over.

Stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Blend in remaining ingredients. Pour into buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.

Refrigerate 2 hours. Cut in squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
