WARM MUSHROOM AND BACON DIP 
6 slices bacon
1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 med. clove garlic, finely chopped
1 env. golden onion or onion recipe soup mix
Dash pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 pt. sour cream
Assorted crackers or sliced breads

Cook bacon and crumble. Reserve 2 1/2 tbsp. of drippings and saute mushrooms and garlic until tender. Add onion soup mix, pepper and cream cheese. Microwave until cheese is melted. Stir in sour cream and bacon. Microwave on medium power for 3 minutes, stirring once. Serve hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
