LITE AND COLORFUL - REFRESHING DESSERT SALAD | |
A happy salad for after dinner. Doesn't pose a lot on calories and gives you that tasty and satisfied feeling. Don't forget to kiss the cook! Goes well with shortbread cookies or pound cake, lady fingers or angel food cake. Don't forget to give me a good thumbs up when you've served your family. I know I appreciate this recipe and I know you will too!! 1 tub light cottage cheese (large or small curd) 4 cups miniature marshmallows 1 cup seedless grapes (go red, and skinless, cut in quarters) 1 (10 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained 2 (8 oz. ea.) cans pineapple tidbits (use liquid of one and drain the other) Maraschino cherries (use some juice) 3 tbsp. Splenda chopped walnuts 1/2 cup whipped topping, folded in Dump cottage cheese and marshmallows together, refrigerate for 2 hours. Stir in other items except fold in the whipped topping, Cool Whip will do, or store brand if available. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. Submitted by: Storm Newton-Watters |
