OVEN HASH BROWN POTATOES 
2 lb. pkg. hash browns, defrosted
1/2 c. butter, cubed or melted
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. sour cream
2 c. grated Cheddar

Mix all ingredients except potatoes in a very large kettle or pan, then add potatoes. Cover with 1 cup buttered bread crumbs after transferring into baking pan. Bake uncovered 45 minutes in 9x13 inch pan or pyrex baking dish, 350 degrees.
