FRIED GREEN TOMATOES 
1 med. green tomato (per person)
Flour
Salt
Pepper
Cooking oil

Wash, core, and slice tomatoes in 1/3 inch slices. Do not peel. Dip each slice in flour, season to taste with salt and pepper. Fry until golden in hot oil. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot with butter.

This is a fantastic delicate dish. To actually "double" the taste... sprinkle each side with lemon pepper while frying... Oh! Yes!
