ELEGANT FRENCH TOAST | |
6 oz. cream cheese, softened 2 tbsp. milk 12 slices cinnamon-raisin bread 3 eggs 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 c. milk butter Combine cream cheese and 2 tablespoons milk for spread. Top 6 slices of bread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining bread slices. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and 1/4 cup milk. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture to coat; cook in preheated buttered griddle until browned on both sides. To serve, cut each sandwich diagonally, dust with confectioners' sugar, and pass the maple syrup! |
