FRENCH HAM TOAST 
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
8 slices (3/8 inch thick) Vienna bread
4 slices (1 oz. each) cooked ham
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
Syrup

Blend butter and mustard; spread on both sides of bread. Place ham on 4 slices of bread; top with remaining 4 slices.

Combine eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and salt. Place sandwiches on buttered 9 inch baking dish. Pour over milk mixture. Turn sandwiches to coat both sides.

Cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Broil on broiler pan 6 inches from heat 3-4 minutes. Turn and broil until brown. Serve with maple or fruit syrup.
