DANISH APPLE BAR 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. lard
1 egg
2/3 c. milk with egg yolk combination
1 1/2 c. Corn Flakes
8 to 10 apples, peeled & sliced
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg white

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Blend flour, salt, lard as for pie crust. Add yolk and milk beaten together. Roll 1/2 of crust and place in large jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with Corn Flakes which have been crushed. Lay on apple slices. Mix sugar and cinnamon and pour over apples. Cover with other 1/2 of rolled out crust and seal edges. Beat egg white and brush over top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Glaze while hot with powdered sugar, water and lemon juice mixture.
