IMPOSSIBLE FRENCH APPLE PIE 
6 c. sliced pared tart apples
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
Streusel (see below)

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease pie plate, mix apples and spices; turn into pie plate. Beat remaining ingredients, except streusel, until smooth, pour into plate. Sprinkle with streusel, bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 55-65 minutes.

STREUSEL:

Mix:

1 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. nuts
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. firm butter until crumbly
