14 oz. Kraft caramels 1/3 c. Carnation milk 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. melted butter 1/3 c. Carnation milk 2 c. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts Melt caramels with 1/3 cup Carnation milk. Mix cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup carnation milk. Spread 1/2 of cake mixture in 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Then spread 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 cup nuts. Dribble caramel sauce back and forth. Drop other 1/2 of cake mixture in pieces on caramel sauce. Bake 20 minutes more. |
