BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat milk to warm. Beat Crisco, butter, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Pour milk in very slow, as you are beating. Finish beating until smooth. Spread on cake.
