LILY'S SIGNATURE VANILLA
CUPCAKES
 
1/2 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients into a separate bowl. Add butter mixture. Bake for 18-24 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Yield: 12 Cupcakes

I used this recipe as a base to make a more elaborate vanilla cupcake. However, I felt that this recipe was a little too narrow. The cupcakes ended up beautiful though.
