SHARRON SHIREY'S FRIED CABBAGE 
1 head cabbage cut in pieces
1 large purple onion, chopped
8 pieces of baccon
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. Lawrey's Garlic Salt
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Seasoned pepper
3/4 stick butter

Brown bacon until crisp. Remove and drain and break into pieces, set aside. Pour bacon grease out of skillet. Leave residue in skillet. Pour chopped onions in skillet and put cabbage in with it. Pour sugar, salt, pepper, seasoned pepper, and garlic on top of cabbage. Cut butter into pieces and put on top of cabbage. Turn fire on medium heat and put lid on skillet. Cook a few minutes then stir the cabbage and mix up onion and cabbage seasonings. Put lid back on and stir every few minutes. Cook until cabbage becomes tender. When cabbage is done, pour it in a bowl and then pour bacon on top.
