FRIED GREEN CABBAGE 
1 med. green cabbage
2 onions, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
2 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
Dash of salt
3 tbsp. bacon drippings

Trim cabbage as needed. Remove core, slice fine on cutting board or grate up. Toss with remaining vegetables. Add bit of salt and turn into hot bacon drippings. Cover and simmer until wilted, about 15 to 20 minutes, turning cabbage often.
