SAUERKRAUT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
4 tbsp. shortening, melted
1 lg. can sauerkraut, drained
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 can tomato soup
1 soup can water

Brown hamburger and onion in melted shortening. Drain. Combine with rest of ingredients. Place in casserole and bake for 1 hour at 370 degrees.
