OVERNIGHT ROLLS | |
1 pkg. yeast 3 c. warm water 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. oil 9 1/2 - 10 c. flour CARAMEL TOPPING: (opt.) 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. white syrup Pecans Mix together the yeast, water and sugar. Let stand until yeast starts to work and sugar dissolves. Add salt, eggs and oil. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Start dough at 5 p.m. and knead every hour until 10 p.m. Make into rolls. Cover with wax paper, leave on kitchen counter. Bake early in the morning. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden on top. Use this for dinner rolls or cinnamon rolls. TOPPING: Mix brown sugar, butter and white syrup. Heat and pour in pan. Add pecans and set rolls on top. Bake. |
