MOM'S CHEESE GRITS 
1 1/2 c. reg. grits
6 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. Tabasco
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
3 beaten until fluffy eggs

Cook grits in salted water until done. Add butter, Tabasco, pepper and cheese, and mix well. Stir in eggs. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Will brown nicely. Serves 8. (You can use instant grits, but it's not as tasty).
