FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 fruit juice glass or grape juice
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries (use 1/2 red and 1/2 green of pineapple and cherries)
1 pkg. white raisins (1 lb.)
1 pkg. dates (1 lb.)

Soak the above for 2 hours. Blend 1 cup brown sugar and 3/4 cup butter. Add 4 eggs one at a time. Sift together 3 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 dash nutmeg (optional), 1 dash allspice (optional). Add flour mixture and 3 teaspoon milk. Add fruit, 3 cup pecans and 1 can angel flake coconut. Drop from spoon on greased cookie sheet. Cook 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
