CHOPPED CUCUMBER PICKLE 
15-20 cucumbers

8 lg. onions

1/2 c. salt

DRESSING:

1 qt. vinegar, cider

1 c. water

4 tbsp. mustard

8 tbsp. flour

2 tsp. each: curry, turmeric & white pepper

4 c. brown sugar

Peel, seed and chop cucumbers. Chop onions and add to cucumbers. Mix. Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight. In the morning drain thoroughly. Add to dressing which you have made as follows: Mix spices and flour with water then add sugar and vinegar. Bring to boil and thicken. Add cucumbers and onions; boil again. Place in sterile jars, pints. Cover with sealing lids. Put jars in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Makes 6-8 pints.
