GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. shortening
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tbsp. steak sauce
5 oz. pkg. thin egg noodles, cooked
1 c. sharp cheese, grated

Brown beef in shortening; add onion, tomatoes, ketchup, steak sauce and parsley, simmer 30 minutes. Cook noodles according to directions. Combine noodles, beef mixture; add soup, mix lightly. Sprinkle top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
