SWISS CHICKEN HAM BAKE 
1 c. chopped onion
4 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 cans sliced mushrooms
2 c. light cream
4 tsp. dry sherry
4 c. cubed, cooked chicken
2 c. cubed, cooked ham
2 cans sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 c. soft bread crumbs
6 tbsp. butter, melted

Cook onion in 4 tablespoons butter until onion is tender. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add undrained mushrooms, cream and sherry. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken, ham and water chestnuts. Pour into 9" x 13" pan. Top with cheese. Mix crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle around the edge of casserole. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, until lightly brown, about 25 minutes.
