GOLDEN ONION RINGS | |
1 c. pancake mix 1/4 c. corn meal 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 1 lg. Bermuda onion Combine pancake mix, corn meal, salt and milk; beat until smooth. Peel onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices and separate rings. Dip onion rings in batter, allow excess batter to drain off. Fry in deep fat 375 degrees for 2 minutes, until golden brown. Drain. Sprinkle with salt. Serve at once. |
